TTUHSC in Midland, Texas is seeking a Sr Lic Vocational Nurse for part-time outpatient obstetrics/gynecology care. The LVN will work under supervision, perform patient care tasks, and support a multidisciplinary health care team.
Qualifications include graduation from a Board of Nursing accredited LVN program, Texas LVN license or temporary permit, and at least two years LVN experience in hospital/clinic settings. Schedule is weekdays 8am-12pm in Midland.

Employees in this classification are experienced LVN's responsiblefor performing a wide variety of patient care activities in anassigned specialty or subspecialty outpatient clinic. Work isperformed under the direction of a staff nurse and/or physician aspart of a total health care team in providing complete evaluationsto patients. Works under the direct supervision of staff nurse orphysician. No delegated supervisory authority; may instructco-workers and supervise them in the performance of specialprocedures. Work is performed under usual clinic conditions,necessitating a high degree of contact with patients, families andclinic personnel.

TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.
