Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recruiting independent contractor drivers, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Recruiter will play a critical role in sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding independent contractor drivers to ensure our company continues to deliver outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing and Attraction: Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract independent contractor drivers. Utilize various recruitment platforms, social media channels, and industry networks to identify potential candidates.
- Screening and Interviewing: Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and compatibility with company requirements. Ensure a high standard of quality and fit for our contractor driver network.
- Onboarding: Ensure that candidates start the onboarding process in a timely manner. Understand where candidates are in the onboarding process with our third-party administrators and other internal partners.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with independent contractor drivers, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Reporting and Analytics: Utilize recruitment data and analytics to track performance, identify trends, and optimize recruitment strategies. Provide regular reports to management on recruitment metrics and progress.
- Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices adhere to legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of market trends and industry developments. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance recruitment processes and techniques.
- Training of Recruiters: Develop and implement training programs for recruiters to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively recruit independent contractor drivers. Provide ongoing support and mentorship to recruiters to help them achieve their recruitment goals.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on independent contractor drivers.
- Strong understanding of the logistics and transportation industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in recruitment software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
