Job summary

FIS is seeking a Sr Lead FP&A Analyst to drive planning, forecasting and performance analysis for the Chief Technology Office. You will partner with tech and finance leaders to translate results into insights, coordinate targets and support investment decisions.

The role focuses on automation, cost-saving initiatives and strengthening the financial operating model to enable scalable growth within a fintech leader.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
  • 5+ years in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting or related finance role.
  • Strong modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Advanced Excel with complex formulas and pivot tables.
  • Ability to translate financial data into clear senior-leader recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead long-range planning, annual budgeting, forecasting and close reporting.
  • Deliver monthly financial reporting and variance analysis for stakeholders.
  • Partner with technology leaders to approve budgets and forecasts.

About the role

As a Sr Lead FP&A Analyst, you will lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis for the Chief Technology Office. You will partner with technology and finance leaders to translate financial results into clear business insights, coordinate planning targets and support investment decisions. This role also helps improve the technology organization's financial operating model through automation, cost‑saving initiatives and stronger planning processes.

Your key responsibilities
  • Lead long-range planning, annual budgeting, forecasting and close reporting for the Chief Technology Office.
  • Deliver monthly financial reporting and variance analysis across plan, forecast and actual results for key stakeholders.
  • Partner with technology leaders to develop, communicate and secure approval for budgets, forecasts and planning targets.
  • Guide the financial evaluation, sizing, approval and execution of automation, cost‑saving and investment initiatives.
  • Improve financial processes, reporting and decision support to help build a best‑in‑class technology business and financial model.
What you bring
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
  • Five or more years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting or a related finance role, including support for annual budgets, monthly forecasts and long-range plans.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis and scenario‑planning skills, along with a solid understanding of accounting concepts.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills,
  • including complex formulas, pivot tables and financial models.
  • Proven ability to translate complex financial information into clear recommendations, communicate with senior leaders and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred qualifications
  • Master of Business Administration, Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst or a similar advanced credential.
  • Experience with financial planning systems such as Hyperion, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, SAP or Oracle.
  • Experience partnering with technology, product, operations or other non‑finance teams and improving financial planning and reporting processes.
