Job summary

FIS is seeking a qualified candidate in Milwaukee to assist in developing and executing core business plans while performing market research to inform strategic decisions. The role includes analyzing growth opportunities and supporting mergers and acquisitions analyses as part of broader financial planning efforts.

You will collaborate with internal teams to produce KPI reports, evaluate capital expenditure, and contribute to innovative fintech business models.

Qualifications

About the Role

This position assists in the development and execution of core business plans and associated team responsibilities, contributing to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives. Facilitates market research efforts, gathering data on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategic decision-making. Participates in mergers and acquisitions analysis, including target identification, due diligence, and financial modeling to assess potential partnerships and acquisitions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Under general supervision, completes tasks that support and facilitate the development and execution of the organization's business planning goals
• Analyzes complex market dynamics, leveraging knowledge of business planning principles to evaluate intricate factors that influence business environments and inform initiatives
• Conducts routine analysis of potential growth opportunities, including market expansion, new product development, and service offerings, to inform decisions
• Examines general information related to capital expenditure and project approval decisions in support of business planning operations
• Completes routine and specialized tasks in business planning, handling a variety of responsibilities to contribute to the successful execution of initiatives
• Documents business plans, ensuring clarity and providing a reference for key stakeholders involved in the implementation of initiatives
• Facilitates communications with internal teams, employing effective communication techniques to ensure alignment and understanding of business strategies among key stakeholders
• Coordinates the production and analysis of core key performance indicator reports to ensure consistent monitoring and progress against work area goals and objectives
• Participates in the innovation of business models, exploring new ways to deliver value to customers and gain a competitive advantage in the Fin Tech sector

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent skills, experience and qualifications
• Strong, communication, interpersonal, problem solving, collaboration and decision-making skills
• Experience supporting financial services, fintech, payments, banking, or technology organizations preferred
• One to four years of financial analysis and reporting experience preferred
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python and AI Tools and Data Sets
• Strong experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
