ManpowerGroup is recruiting a Sr. Java Software Engineer for a hybrid role in Southlake, TX or Omaha, NE. The contract is 12 months with pay of $68/hr (W2 only).

You will join the Software Engineering team delivering Java enterprise solutions in an Agile Scrum environment, focusing on RESTful services and testable, efficient code. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Java development, strong DB experience (Oracle/MS SQL Server), and hands-on experience with Spring/Spring Boot and testing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of work experience actively writing and reviewing Java code.
• 5+ years of experience with relational databases (Oracle and/or MS SQL Server).
• 5+ years of experience writing unit and integration tests with frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute as a Scrum team member by writing, reviewing, and maintaining Java code for enterprise applications.
• Develop Java-based components and interfaces meeting specifications.
• Prepare, release, and support software components ensuring designs meet requirements.
• Investigate alternatives and emerging technologies and present architectural recommendations.
• Develop detailed documentation and tools to support users and operations.

Our client, a technology organization is seeking a Sr. Java Software Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Java Software Engineer , you will be part of the Software Engineering team supporting Scrum delivery . The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Java enterprise development , deep experience building RESTful services , and the ability to write testable, efficient code while collaborating in an Agile environment which will align successfully in the organization.

• Job Title: Java Developer - Senior

• Location: Southlake, TX or Omaha, NE (Hybrid – 4 days a week onsite)

• Contract: 12 months

• Pay Range: $68/hr.

• W2 Only - No C2C/C2H

What's the Job?

• Actively contribute as a member of a Scrum team by writing, reviewing, and maintaining Java code for enterprise applications.

• Create user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based components and interfaces that meet specifications.

• Prepare, release, and support software components while ensuring designs are compliant with functional and non-functional requirements.

• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and emerging technologies and presenting recommendations for architectural review.

• Support end users by developing detailed documentation and assistance tools to improve usability and operational clarity.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of work experience in a software development role where you were actively writing and reviewing Java code.

• 5+ years of experience with relational databases , ideally Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server .

• 5+ years of experience writing unit and integration tests , with familiarity in at least one testing framework (e.g., JUnit , Mockito preferred).

• 3+ years of experience using Spring / Spring Boot and 3+ years developing RESTful services .
