Job summary

ManpowerGroup, via its Experis division, is seeking a Sr. Java Software Engineer to join a Scrum-driven software engineering team in a hybrid role based in Southlake, TX or Omaha, NE.

The position focuses on Java enterprise development, RESTful services, and testable, efficient coding within an Agile environment. The candidate should have 5+ years of Java experience, strong database skills (Oracle/MS SQL Server), and hands-on Spring/Spring Boot with RESTful service development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of work experience in a software development role focusing on Java code.
• 5+ years of experience with relational databases, ideally Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
• 5+ years of experience writing unit and integration tests with frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.
• 3+ years of experience using Spring / Spring Boot and 3+ years developing RESTful services.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute as a member of a Scrum team by writing, reviewing, and maintaining Java code for enterprise applications.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Java-based components and interfaces that meet specifications.
• Prepare, release, and support software components while ensuring designs meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Investigate alternatives and emerging technologies and provide architectural recommendations.
• Develop documentation and assistance tools to support users and improve operations.

Our client, a technology organization is seeking a Sr. Java Software Engineer to join their team.

As a Sr. Java Software Engineer , you will be part of the Software Engineering team supporting Scrum delivery . The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on Java enterprise development , deep experience building RESTful services , and the ability to write testable, efficient code while collaborating in an Agile environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Java Developer - Senior Location: Southlake, TX or Omaha, NE (Hybrid – 4 days a week onsite) Contract: 12 months Pay Range: $68/hr. W2 Only - No C2C/C2H

What's the Job?
