Job summary

Cognizant in Charlotte, NC seeks a Sr. Java Developer to lead a team in designing, developing and delivering enterprise Java applications end to end. You will work with Java and Spring Boot, microservices, and AWS, mentoring engineers to ensure high-quality results.

The role is onsite with four days in the Cognizant office in Charlotte, NC, offering growth opportunities and exposure to client projects. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and building Microservices.
• Working experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Kafka for event streaming and messaging.

About The Role

As a Sr. Java Developer, you will make an impact by leading a team to design, develop and deliver enterprise Java applications that power our client's projects end to end. You will be a valued member of the Java engineering team and work collaboratively with project leadership, cross-functional delivery teams, and clients.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $ 68,00,000 to $ 114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
