As a Java Backend Developer you will make an impact as the primary point of contact for all Java domain-related queries and issues. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with management, team members and client.

Work Model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 3-5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Sunnyvale - CA.

What You Must Have To Be Considered

• Possess a strong proficiency in Spring boot Microservices and Java for full stack development.
• Demonstrate expertise in Commerce Full Stack Engineering with a focus on Java technologies.
• Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in software development with a maximum of 10 years.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Show capability to work effectively in a hybrid work model and day shift environment.
• Display strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 to $130,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
