DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify and maintain inventory accuracy by reviewing Magazine records, Oracle inventory transactions, shipping records, production records, and historical data; investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Coordinate inventory reconciliation activities, including researching variances, obtaining inventory verifications from Distribution Centers (ODCs), and directing physical inventory counts and recounts.
- Prepare, process, and submit inventory adjustment documentation in both the Magazine database and Oracle Inventory system.
- Administer cycle count programs by scheduling counts, preparing count sheets, directing Logistics personnel, conducting physical counts, and entering count results and adjustments into Oracle.
- Collaborate with Logistics, Production, Compliance, and other departments to ensure accurate inventory movements, transactions, and recordkeeping.
- Review and verify Production Move Tickets and inventory transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain Oracle records related to drop-ship locations and ATF license information for ODC shipments.
- Coordinate the issuance and transfer of inventory for projects, job orders, and operational requirements.
- Distribute inspection documentation and maintain supporting inventory and compliance records.
- Code and approve freight invoices in accordance with established procedures.
- Provide inventory accuracy support, Oracle system assistance, and training to personnel across multiple Owen locations.
- Support internal inventory audits and regulatory compliance audits, including ATF requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Five (5) or more years of direct inventory control / reconciliation experience is required.
- Oracle Inventory.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Understanding of warehouse, logistics, and production operations.
- Familiarity with ATF regulations, recordkeeping requirements, and compliance standards is preferred.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and distribution processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and locations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Strong data input skills.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and complete responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Strong computer skills in Word and Excel and Outlook.
