The CONMED Corporation is seeking an Internal Audit professional to perform audit procedures of key controls related to SOX, test records, and provide status reports. You'll develop audit plans, document evidence, and communicate findings to management.

You may assist external auditors and contribute to process improvements. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 2+ years in public accounting, audit, or internal audit.

Responsibilities Include

• Performing audit test procedures of key controls as related to SOX
• Provide SOX status reports
• Obtaining and testing of sufficient evidential matter
• Conduct internal financial and/or system audits and risk assessments
• Test and document financial and computer system records for information system integrity and transaction accuracy
• Report discrepancies
• Prepares audit plans and understand the specific issues to be evaluated
• Execute internal audits within established business process controls
• Develop formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and make recommendations as appropriate
• May facilitate work of external auditors
• Participate in various projects to improve or develop efficient and effective department processes

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting, audit, internal audit, or a related field.

Disclosure as required by applicablelaw, the hourly rate for this position is $26.80 - $39.00. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
