Job summary

CONMED Corporation is seeking a driven Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. This remote role supports SOX compliance, annual internal audit plan, and audits across financial, operational, IT, and third-party areas.

Responsibilities include testing controls, developing reports, assisting external auditors, and driving process improvements. Requires a Bachelor's in related field and 2+ years in public or internal audit; travel up to 20%.

• 2+ years of experience in public accounting, audit /internal audit.

• Develop formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and make recommendations as appropriate
• May facilitate work of external auditors
• Participate in various projects to improve or develop efficient and effective department processes

At CONMED, Internal Audit promotes the effective and efficient use of our resources through implementation of compliance controls, value added projects and cost savings and avoidance opportunities. We are seeking a driven and financially savvy Senior Internal Auditor to join the team.

As a Remote Senior Internal Auditor , you will support the completion of annual Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and the annual internal audit plan, which may include Financial, Operational, IT, Compliance and select third party audits.

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing audit test procedures of key controls as related to SOX

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or another related field
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting, audit /internal audit.

Preferred Experience:

• Audit knowledge and skills in finance/accounting and/or information system operations
• Experience with data analytics, audit testing etc.

Expected Travel 0-20%

Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $64,074 - $90,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
