Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support the Security Vetting Enterprise (SVE) in the front-line defense for screening and vetting linguist applicants and other Army designated personnel. This role drives all-source intelligence and threat production in support of Army modernization and readiness.

Starting Salary Range for Intelligence Analyst – Senior: $120,000 – $125,000. Must have active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and be a US citizen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with substantial intelligence analysis experience.
• Extensive experience in all-source analysis and counterintelligence domains.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and report drafting.
• Ability to define novel research approaches to address high-level tasks.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain clearance.

• Produce all-source intelligence analytic products on foreign entities and threats to DoD personnel and resources.
• Develop and maintain analytic procedures to meet changing requirements.

Position Summary

Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support the mission of the Security Vetting Enterprise (SVE) in the front-line defense for screening and vetting linguist applicants and other Army designated categories of personnel.The purpose driving this requirement is to provide security screening and vetting (SAV), all source intelligence and threat production in support to Army modernization and readiness, and to provide Counterintelligence-Focused Security Review and Interview (CI-FSRI) service support to the Army Security Vetting Enterprise.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities

Includes the following:

• Produces all-source intelligence analytic products on foreign intelligence entities capabilities, intentions, willingness, and opportunities to threaten DoD personnel, resources, activities, and interests worldwide.
• Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations.
• Supports the development and analysis of intelligence products.
• Presents analysis or products to customers through written or oral presentation.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: (Basic Qualifications)

• Have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive intelligence analysis experience.
• Have sixteen (16) years of progressive intelligence analysis experience with a minimum of five (5) years of specialized expertise in all source analysis, identity validation, or targeting.
• Must have in-depth knowledge and understanding of intelligence analyst, to include counterintelligence, activities and mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies.
• Have the ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
• Proficient in drafting expert assessments across operational priorities on behalf of a stakeholder and clearly articulates key findings.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph. Candidates holding an active Top Secret/SCI clearance without the polygraph may be selected; the ability to obtain the required polygraph is a condition of the position and will be completed as part of the hiring process.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving about the office for extended periods.
• Understanding Federal law enforcement mission, processes, and products.
• Must know how to access and use common intelligence community networks (JWICS, SIPR, NIPR) to coordinate the exchange of information by email and must be able to access and use specified databases.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred experience conducting analysis to counter threats to Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP) and DoD research and technology.
• Work is performed primarily in a climate-controlled environment.
