Cherokee Strategic Edge, part of Cherokee Federal, seeks an Intelligence Analyst to support the Security Vetting Enterprise and frontline defense for screening linguists and Army-designated personnel.

The role focuses on all-source intelligence analysis, threat assessment, and CI-focused security review, with duties including producing analytic products and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive intelligence analysis experience.
  • Twelve (12) years of progressive intelligence analysis experience with at least three years of specialized expertise in all-source analysis, identity validation, or targeting.
  • In-depth knowledge of intelligence analysis, including counterintelligence, and mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Produces all-source intelligence analytic products on foreign intelligence entities' capabilities, intentions, willingness, and opportunities to threaten DoD personnel, resources, activities, and interests worldwide.
  • Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations.
  • Supports the development and analysis of intelligence products.
  • Presents analysis or products to customers through written or oral presentation.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Job description

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance and the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support the mission of the Security Vetting Enterprise (SVE) in the front-line defense for screening and vetting linguist applicants and other Army designated categories of personnel.

The purpose driving this requirement is to provide security screening and vetting (SAV), all source intelligence and threat production in support to Army modernization and readiness, and to provide Counterintelligence-Focused Security Review and Interview (CI-FSRI) service support to the Army Security Vetting Enterprise.

Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations.

Active TS/SCI security clearance

Required to meet one of the following:

Have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive intelligence analysis experience.

Have twelve (12) years of progressive intelligence analysis experience with a minimum of three (3) years of specialized expertise in all source analysis, identity validation, or targeting.

Must have in-depth knowledge and understanding of intelligence analyst, to include counterintelligence, activities and mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies.

Have the ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.

Proficient in drafting expert assessments across operational priorities on behalf of a stakeholder and clearly articulates key findings.

Possess the ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.

Preferred experience conducting analysis to counter threats to Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP) and DoD research and technology.

Must be familiar with the following:

  • Screening and vetting operations
  • Intelligence community threat assessment development and production
  • Trend analysis
  • Counterintelligence operations, defense critical infrastructure, research and technology protection
  • Federal law enforcement mission, processes, and products.

Must know how to access and use common intelligence community networks (JWICS, SIPR, NIPR) to coordinate the exchange of information by email and must be able to access and use specified databases.
