The Senior Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions that connect various systems and applications to optimize business processes and enhance overall efficiency.
The Senior Integration Developer will lead the design and implementation of integration workflows, manage middleware platforms, and ensure seamless data flow across disparate systems. By leveraging your expertise in Apis, enterprise service buses, and middleware technologies, you will contribute to developing best practices for integration and play a key role in driving technical innovation. This role will also involve working with leading integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Informatica, and other cloud technologies to deliver high-performing, scalable solutions.
Education and Experience:
- 5 – 8 years of experience in integration development, with a focus on enterprise systems and APIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience with MuleSoft Any point Platform, including API design, development, and deployment.
- Experience with MuleSoft product suite, Cloud Hub 2.0, API-led connectivity, API Manager, Partner Manager, and MuleSoft Administration.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with event-driven architecture, including Pub/Sub messaging patterns, message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), and event-driven systems.
- Strong proficiency in web services (REST, SOAP) and data formats like XML and JSON.
- Familiarity with API management, API security best practices (OAuth, JWT, etc.), and security principles within MuleSoft integrations.
- Good understanding of EDI Standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and integration protocols (e.g., AS2, SFTP,FTPS).
- Experience using version control systems (e.g., Github, Bitbucket)
- Proficient in working with databases and data integration, including data mapping, transformation, and database queries.
- Exposure to cloud integration platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex integration issues and optimize system performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced and evolving environments.
- Certifications in integration technologies such as MuleSoft, AWS, Azure.
- Experience with manufacturing systems like ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), IoT, and other manufacturing-specific applications is a plus.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using iPaas vendors and a variety of enterprise cloud and on-premise systems.
- Oversee the full API lifecycle, from designing and developing RESTful APIs to testing, monitoring, and optimizing for performance and scalability.
- Create reusable API assets and connectors to accelerate faster development and future-proof integration solutions.
- Work closely with third-party vendors and integration partners to evaluate solutions, manage implementation, and ensure the integration of external systems and tools into the organization’s architecture.
- Monitor integration performance and health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the efficiency of integration processes across systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to define technical requirements and design integration architectures that align with business needs.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to IT peers on integration best practices and coding standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including integration specifications, data flow diagrams, and support guides. Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies to continuously enhance integration solutions, and drive improvements that align with industry standards.
