Job summary

A leading Automation Systems Integrator in Detroit is seeking experienced Instrumentation Techs. The role involves troubleshooting, calibrating control systems, and performing maintenance on instrumentation in various industrial sectors. Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree or equivalent experience and will be proficient in PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. Willingness to travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with install and maintenance projects in automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and calibrate control systems.
• Experience working in various industries including Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater, and Food & Beverage.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics and electrical circuits.
• Calibrate and maintain instrumentation using tools.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance at customer sites.

Award-Winning Automation Systems Integrator seeks experienced Instrumentation Techs:

• Able to read & interpret schematics, drawings as well as comprehension of electricity & circuits
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• Troubleshooting & calibrating controlsystems
• Calibrating instrumentation
• Set up instrumentation & calibrate using meters & tools
• Preventative & corrective maintenance
• Experience with install and maintenance projects in the automation of industrial processes
• Testing functions
• Experience working withPLC's, HMI's & SCADA systemsincludingRockwell/Allen Bradley, Wonderware, Siemens, GE Fanuc, Emerson DeltaV, Schneider Electric and/or Modicon
• Troubleshoot I/O's
  
• Oil & Gas(Midstream preferred), Water/Wastewater, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Cogen Plants, Combined Cooling Heat and Power, Data Centers, Packaging &Process Controls experience
• Experience working in the field at customer sites
• Willingness to travel to customer sites
• CCST and Fiber Optic certifications a plus
• Ability to work well independently
