Position Overview and Responsibilities:

Alutiiq Information Management, LLC is seeking a Sr Information Systems Security Engineer for an active Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) contract. The role involves assisting in the implementation and maintenance of databases, monitoring performance, and supporting documentation of configuration change management procedures.

• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Maintain and report IT/PIT assessment and authorization status.
• Oversee ISSOs to ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies.
• Monitor cybersecurity policy compliance and review monitoring results.
• Support security control assessments and ensure security procedures are followed.
• Manage security clearances and access authorizations for users.
• Coordinate cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews.
• Act as cybersecurity technical advisor for DoD IT/PIT systems.
• Follow configuration management policies for hardware/software use.
• Maintain knowledge of system functions, security policies, and safeguards.
• Manage and execute the continuous monitoring plan.
• Document vulnerabilities and report serious violations.
• Assess system changes affecting security authorization.
• Develop operational concepts and security policies.
• Provide cybersecurity advice to teams and develop security implementation policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Certifications such as CNSSI 4012/4013/4014/4015/4016, NDU CISO, CCNA, CAP, Security+ (CE), ENSA, or DoD 8570 IAM II.
• Active Department of Defense SECRET clearance.
• Four (4) years of professional experience in Sr Information Systems Security Engineering.
