RGA Enterprise Services Company (RGA) seeks a Senior Information Security Engineer to monitor, evaluate, and maintain the security and integrity of the global systems to safeguard data systems under limited supervision. The position is based out of the headquarters at 16600 Swingley Ridge Rd, Chesterfield, MO 63017. Telecommuting is permitted 100% of the time from anywhere in the U.S. This position will be assisting the Information Security Engineers with identifying potential threats and responding to reported security violations. Key responsibilities include: assist with the evaluation, design, maintenance, and upgrades of hardware and software that provide security services to all RGA associates and clients worldwide; design, implement, and maintain firewall policies; participate in the administration of various security services that monitor systems and programs; assist with internal and external security scanning; assist with monitoring network traffic and attached devices for anomalous behavior; and ensure user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security. Offered Salary: $118,973.25. RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles, and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits. The compensation range noted below indicates that the base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. For this particular position, the offered salary is $118,973.25 and is non-negotiable.

Basic Qualifications:

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Technology Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus at least four (4) years of experience as an Information Security Engineer or in a similar role in a cyber security capacity. A qualified applicant's experience must include: 4 years of experience applying knowledge of firewalls, security designs, and maintenance/expansion to ensure secure environments and prevent data loss; 4 years of experience with threat detection and response using M365 security technology, including M365 Purview, Defender for Endpoint, and Azure or similar technologies; 2 years of experience performing remote access solutions and maintaining network and client/server technologies and standards; 4 years of experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM platforms) and User Behaviour analytics to monitor and respond to security incidents and insider threats; 4 years of experience analyzing/implementing best practice configuration standards for systems and network devices; 4 years of experience with Intrusion Detection and Prevention System analysis with strong understanding responding to security incidents and implementing security measures to prevent unauthorized access; and 4 years of experience conducting risk assessments and vulnerability assessments, with strong knowledge of data governance best practices and frameworks.
