Job summary

TI Automotive is seeking an experienced procurement professional to source, negotiate, and manage Indirect purchases in Packaging and Corporate services. You will develop regional category strategies for packaging components, monitor market trends, manage supplier relationships, and ensure material availability and cost competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, CIPS, CPP/CPPM are beneficial.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably in manufacturing or automotive.
• Experience with global suppliers, especially in Asia, Europe, or North America.
• Experience with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 quality environments.
• Experience sourcing plastics and resins as raw materials.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools (SAP, Oracle, ARIBA, Coupa).

Responsibilities

• Develop regional category strategies for packaging and indirect materials.
• Monitor market trends, raw material indices, and assess risk exposure.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure material availability and performance.
• Conduct business reviews with key suppliers to monitor performance.
• Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, contracts, and terms.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and manage pricing structures.
• Deliver year-over-year cost savings and productivity improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production to meet technical requirements and timelines.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement dual sourcing and buffers as needed.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier performance metrics, and dashboards.
• Provide updates to senior leadership on market outlooks and procurement performance.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with policies and environmental standards.
• Support sustainability by sourcing eco-friendly or recycled resin alternatives.
• Flexibly support Plant and Corporate Indirect Purchases and other categories as needed.
