Job Description:

The Service Technician will work independently or as part of a team, responsible for installation, startup, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of commercial HVACR equipment, systems, and units.

Job Duties:

1. Analyze work orders, plan daily travel, investigate complaints, conduct tests, and resolve problems for existing accounts.
2. Study system requirements, order and gather components, complete installations, and perform acceptance tests.
3. Examine complaints, identify solutions, suggest improvements, and recommend system enhancements to maintain rapport with customers.
4. Operate and troubleshoot personal equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and call for repairs as needed.
5. Complete documentation of service and installation actions through forms, reports, logs, and records.
6. Maintain confidentiality of service information to uphold customer confidence.
7. Participate in educational opportunities and stay updated with professional publications to enhance knowledge.
8. Perform other related duties as instructed by management to support organizational goals.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in HVAC service work, with a background in servicing HVAC contractors.
2. Experience with VRF systems is preferred; BAS/DDC controls experience is desirable.
3. Owns necessary tools for the job.
4. Reliable, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Willing to undergo pre-employment screening, including background check and drug testing.
6. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
