Job Title: Service Technician

Description: The Service Technician will work independently or as part of a team responsible for the installation, startup, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of commercial HVACR equipment, systems, and units.

Job Duties:

1. Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders, planning daily travel schedules, investigating complaints, conducting tests, and resolving problems.
2. Establishes service by studying system requirements, ordering and gathering components and parts, completing installation, and performing acceptance tests.
3. Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, and recommending system improvements.
4. Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
5. Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
6. Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
7. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
8. Contributes to organizational success by completing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Experience working in a service vehicle and providing service for an HVAC contractor.
2. Ability to work effectively within a team.
3. VRF experience is preferred.
4. BAS/DDC Controls experience is desired.
5. Owns necessary tools.
6. Reliable with excellent oral and written communication skills.
7. Willing to undergo pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug test.
8. Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
9. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
