The Senior HR Manager works closely with the CPO and other members of the HR team to support BSF staff. This position includes responsibilities associated with benefits management, salary administration, employee training and development, performance management, onboarding, policy development and implementation, employee relations, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads the full cycle talent acquisition process in collaboration with the CPO and HR Manager to recruit, hire, and onboard both exempt and non-exempt positions. Partners with supervisors to screen and interview candidates, conducts reference checks, extends job offers, facilitates new employee orientations, provides employee relations guidance, and conducts exit interviews.
- Assists with the compensation program which includes the preparation of job descriptions, conducting annual salary surveys, and establishing the merit pool (salary budget).
- In collaboration with the CPO, address workplace concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Collaborates with the CPO in developing and managing the HR Annual Operating Plan, including departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
- Supports the CPO in the creation, recommendation, and execution of personnel policies and procedures; oversees updates to the employee handbook and ensures consistent policy application organization wide.
- Actively participates in HR and cross-functional meetings as required.
- Reviews departmental reports, decisions, and outcomes in alignment with established goals, recommending enhancements in policies and procedures to continually improve departmental efficiency and service quality.
- Ensures adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Supports the CPO in the planning and execution of staff events and gatherings.
- Provides payroll backup as needed

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- HR Generalist Experience: 10 + years of progressive HR experience, including responsibilities in employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and full cycle talent acquisition.
- Business Partner Experience: Experience as the point of contact for a department or division, ideally supporting multiple functions or departments. Experience working closely with senior leaders and executives.
- Project and Change Management: Demonstrated experience in leading or supporting change initiatives, cultural transformations, or HR projects, especially those involving talent or organizational development.
- Legal and Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Experience in ensuring HR practices comply with applicable laws and organizational policies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources required, Master’s degree preferred.
- HR Certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP) required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of Products.
- Intermediate Proficiency in ADP Workforce and/or Bamboo HR preferred.
- BSF Leadership experience preferred.
- Third party/executive recruiting experience preferred
SPIRITUAL REQUIREMENTS
- Thorough understanding of the Christian faith and its doctrines and the BSF Statement of Faith.
- Follow Matthew 18 principles in addressing issues with fellow employees.
- Studying the Bible in preparation for each weekday’s group meeting.
- Lead staff prayer time and your table group Bible study as reasonably requested.
- Prepare for and attend each Day of Prayer.
- Participating in teaching and training events as reasonably requested.
