Job Description
The United States Capitol Police (USCP) is responsible for protecting Congress, its legislative processes, members, staff, visitors, and facilities from crime, disruption, and terrorism.
The Office of Human Resources (OHR) provides human resources and human capital management services to USCP for both sworn and civilian employees, including staffing, employee relations, benefits, and strategic workforce planning.
The Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) manages procurement strategies and the USCP Purchase and Fleet Card Programs.
The Office of Background Investigations and Credentialing (OBIC) conducts background investigations, manages credentials, and supports USCP stakeholders through criminal record checks.
Position Objective: The Senior HR Specialist – Staffing provides advanced HR support focusing on staffing, recruitment, and classification, leading full-cycle recruitment activities for USCP to attract and retain top talent.
