H2M architects + engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm, seeks an experienced Sr. Human Resource Generalist to support HR and Talent Management services for employees in our Parsippany and Wall, NJ offices. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the employee experience and will demonstrate a strong commitment to H2M’s mission, vision, and core values.

Responsibilities:

This position will support employees and managers in our Parsippany and Wall, NJ offices with full cycle HR services. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, the role will work closely with HR Business Partners to ensure consistency in HR programs and resources. The main focus areas include:

  • Talent Acquisition: Responsible for recruitment efforts in New Jersey based on hiring projections and turnover. Source candidates via LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, social media, industry platforms, and ATS. Manage referral programs, coordinate recruitment events, update job descriptions, and assist in final hiring decisions.
  • Onboarding and New Employee Experience: Lead communication efforts for onboarding, create a welcoming experience, ensure documentation is complete, and perform check-ins at 30 and 90 days.
  • Employee Departures: Conduct exit interviews, manage internal communications, analyze exit data, and handle unemployment documentation.
  • Other Responsibilities: Assist with leaves of absence, benefits management, HR reporting, salary surveys, employment verifications, and employee programs.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of HR experience, preferably in professional services, with emphasis on employee relations and talent acquisition.
  • Master’s degree or SHRM/HRCI certification preferred; bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and coaching skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HCM systems like Dayforce.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Standards of Performance:

  • Team-oriented, customer-focused, positive attitude, adherence to standards.

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $100,000 annually, with potential deviations based on experience and qualifications.
