Job description

Senior HR Business Partner - Global Business Unit
Who We Are

We’re a Fortune 500 manufacturer with over 10,000 employees worldwide, behind a lineup of consumer brands. This opportunity sits within one of our global divisions, a business of roughly 1,000 people generating more than half a billion dollars in yearly sales.

Why This Role Matters

This is a high-visibility HR leadership seat embedded directly in a division’s executive team. You’ll be the go-to people strategist for the general manager and functional leaders, shaping how the business hires, grows, and keeps its talent. You’ll influence everything from org structure to culture to leadership capability, and your input will carry the same weight as any other leader at the table.

What You’ll Own
  • Serve as the primary HR advisor to division and customer-care leadership, translating business goals into people plans that move results
  • Design and roll out talent strategies that hold up over time and support where the business is heading
  • Spot organizational gaps early by combining workforce data with on-the-ground insight, then build practical solutions
  • Coach executives, managers, and individual contributors through performance, development, and change
  • Run the full annual talent cycle for your client groups: goal setting and reviews, compensation planning, headcount forecasting, talent reviews, succession, and individual development
  • Pull in enterprise HR specialists (compensation, talent, learning, etc.) and shared-services partners to deliver solutions at scale
What You Bring
  • 7-10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant master’s a plus
  • A track record of earning the trust of senior executives and steering their decisions
  • Strong commercial instincts, so you can speak the language of P&L, operations, and growth
  • Hands-on experience with org design, organizational diagnostics, and building leadership capability
  • Comfort turning HR metrics and workforce analytics into clear recommendations
  • Skill at leading change and getting leaders to own their people outcomes
Location & Logistics
  • Fully onsite, five days a week, at one of two Midwest sites
  • Occasional travel between locations (about 5-10%)

$175-$195K, 25% bonus (that can shell out at up to 200%!!)
