What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making and business strategies
- Provide ongoing data leadership on the evaluation of clinical programs and disease management initiatives
- Analyze and report on member satisfaction through Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) results
- Support regulatory reporting and quality improvement initiatives, including Healthcare Effectiveness Data Information Set (HEDIS)
- Mentor junior analysts and collaborate with multiple departments to enhance care delivery
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Analysis or a related field of study
- At least 5-7 years of experience in data analysis
- Advanced skills in SQL, SAS, and Excel, along with experience in statistical modeling tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in statistics, computer science, information systems, or a related field
- 10-15 years of experience in the healthcare payer industry, particularly with large analyses for senior leadership
- Experience working with electronic medical records, such as EPIC or Athena
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements
- Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial products
