The Senior Global Market Development Manager - Pharma will define and prioritize marketing strategies for the Pharma market, driving all aspects of our SCIEX Pharma business. This includes market definition, problem identification, VOC research, competitive analysis, and exploring new opportunities. This remote position is part of the Global Strategic Marketing Team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Analysis: Identify growth opportunities, define market size, conduct VOC research, and understand customer needs. Develop customer personas and provide insights for product development and solutions. Cultivate thought leaders.
2. Organizational Insight: Understand market trends, customer workflows, and competitor activity. Create accessible knowledge bases for strategy, innovation, and marketing. Support regional marketing and gather customer feedback.
3. Competitive Landscape: Explore customer ecosystems and competitors. Develop value propositions and marketing messaging for Pharma workflows.
4. Customer Advocacy: Advocate for customer-driven portfolio development. Lead ideation events, develop personas, influence roadmaps, and support innovation processes.
5. Performance Monitoring: Track revenue metrics, develop action plans, and address shortfalls.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological, Chemistry, or Chemical Science.
• 5+ years in Pharma industry, with experience in marketing, business administration, or related fields.
• Proven background in life sciences marketing, sales, or technical roles.
• Deep understanding of Pharma analytical workflows.
• Broad knowledge of mass spectrometry and/or capillary electrophoresis technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• MS or PhD preferred.
• Experience translating market insights into strategies.
• Experience in a global, matrix-managed environment.
• Ability to synthesize market research and VOC into strategic directions.

The salary range is $135,000 - $150,000 USD, potentially including bonus/incentives. Compensation details are at the company's discretion.
