Job summary

Taurus Search is seeking an experienced accounting professional with leadership experience for a newly created role. You will be the primary contact for a portfolio of client accounts, coordinating between clients and internal teams on product delivery.

Responsibilities include overseeing capital calls, distributions, valuations, and reporting; reviewing quarterly financial statements and investor letters; mentoring team members; and advising clients on issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in fund accounting, public accounting or fund administration.
• Strong understanding of PE fund structures and operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for the assigned clients.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the client's fund structures and SOPs.
• Assign workload and deadlines for capital calls, distributions, valuations, cash monitoring, management fees and reporting functions.
• Review and finalize quarterly financial statements, investor letters, and other required assignments.
• Assist with investor inquiries, fielding reporting questions, and other ad hoc requests.
• Coach and mentor team members in all aspects of work.
• When issues arise, create innovative solutions and manage follow up.
• Act as an advisor to clients.

Taurus Search is working with a fast paced start up working within PE. Our client is looking to hire a strong accounting professional, ideally with leadership experience, to join a newly created role as they continue to bring on major clients in private equity and private debt!
