Job summary

Taurus Search is working with a successful global bank that expanded into Private Equity investments in the past decade. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lean, boutique team overseeing $3B in PE and Private Credit Funds, reporting directly to the Head of Accounting.

The role will drive external audits, financial statements, capital calls, investor queries, and treasury tasks within a dynamic private assets environment in New York.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in public audit, fund administration, or private accounting with experience in alternative asset management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate external audits
• Support external service providers such as audit teams and fund admins
• Prepare financial statements
• Work with fund admins on capital calls and distributions
• Track portfolio investments, and maintain private credit interest schedules
• Reconcile interest income and principal payments for private credit funds
• Perform treasury functions
• Assist in the review of new fund creation and closing of investment transactions
• Assist with investor questions and various IR tasks as needed
• Ad hoc projects

The candidate will be the third hire onto a team managing accountging for $3B in PE and Private Credit Funds and reprot directly into the Head of Accounting.
