Job summary

SNI Financial is partnering with a rapidly growing private equity firm in Dallas, TX to recruit a Senior Fund Accountant who will oversee accounting and reporting for multiple private equity partnerships.

You will record journal entries, manage ledgers, prepare capital calls and distributions, ensure GAAP compliance, and present results to clients in a high-growth environment. The role offers a base salary up to $110,000 plus a 20–30% semi-annual bonus and a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or fund/private equity accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and partnership accounting.
• Excellent communication skills for client-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and reporting for multiple private equity investment partnerships.
• Record journal entries and maintain general ledgers for assigned partnerships.
• Prepare and review capital calls, distribution notices, financial statements, and management reports.
• Maintain a working understanding of limited partnership agreements and apply terms to allocations and reporting.
• Allocate income and expenses to partners’ capital accounts.
• Review and approve the work of analysts, fund accountants, and cash operations/reporting teams.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and advise on emerging accounting issues affecting investment partnerships.
• Analyze investment performance and present results to clients.
• Oversee reviews of financial statements, tax filings, and other reporting deliverables.
• Leverage technology and systems for efficiency and accuracy.

Senior Fund Accountant – Private Equity Dallas, TX | To $110,000 base + 20% to 30% bonus | Hybrid (4 days in office, Fridays work-from-home)

We have partnered with a rapidly growing private equity and venture capital firm that invests in innovative technology and generative AI companies. With a strong track record and a portfolio of more than 15 investments, the firm is scaling its operations and adding a Senior Fund Accountant to the team.

This role offers the best of both worlds: the rigor of institutional fund accounting combined with the entrepreneurial culture of a high-growth investment firm. The Senior Fund Accountant will gain exposure to complex fund structures, work closely with controllers and executives, and interact directly with clients.
