Job summary

AssureSoft is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and maintain web applications and backend services. You will build responsive front-ends with React.js, and implement backend systems with Node.js and TypeScript, while collaborating across teams to deliver robust APIs and integrated solutions.

The role emphasizes strong coding standards, problem-solving, and ownership of deliverables, with remote work options and ongoing opportunities for growth within a multinational company.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and backend services.
• Build responsive, maintainable user interfaces using React.js and JavaScript.
• Develop, enhance, and integrate backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design, build, and consume APIs for application functionality and system integrations.
• Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Contribute to technical estimations and development planning.
• Identify and implement improvements to application performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Solid professional software development experience at a senior engineering level.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern web development fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with React.js or comparable modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and web services.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL Server.
• Experience with non-relational databases and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, and collaborative development.
• Experience applying software engineering best practices and writing maintainable code.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and take ownership of deliverables.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted software development tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and Docker or containerized environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and front-end testing frameworks.
