Job summary

AssureSoft Corporation seeks a senior DevOps/SRE to design and manage scalable AWS infrastructure. You will implement Terraform provisioning, Kubernetes on EKS, and GitOps with ArgoCD, while building CI/CD pipelines and observability with Grafana and OpenSearch.

You will optimize relational databases (RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and collaborate with engineering teams on reliable delivery and operations in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Senior-level DevOps or SRE with cloud infra focus.
• Hands-on AWS and cloud architecture experience.
• Proficient in Bash, Python, or similar scripting.
• Experience with Terraform for provisioning and automation.
• Kubernetes experience with Amazon EKS and container orchestration.
• Experience implementing GitOps with ArgoCD.
• Extensive CI/CD design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• OpenSearch for logging and Grafana for monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize scalable, secure, and reliable AWS infrastructure.
• Develop and manage infrastructure provisioning and automation using Terraform.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain containerized applications and Kubernetes clusters using Amazon EKS.
• Implement and manage GitOps deployment workflows using ArgoCD.
• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for application delivery and infrastructure management.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Grafana and OpenSearch.
• Deploy, configure, monitor, and optimize relational databases using Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and engineering teams to ensure reliable application delivery and infrastructure operations.
• Contribute to technical discussions, infrastructure architecture design, code reviews, estimation, and planning.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues; identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Apply security, availability, scalability, and disaster recovery best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well‑documented infrastructure configurations and automation scripts.
• Identify improvements in system performance, reliability, automation, and cloud cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Senior-level professional experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, automation, and management.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS for container orchestration and cluster management.
• Experience implementing and managing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.
• Strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with OpenSearch for centralized logging, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Experience using Grafana for infrastructure monitoring, observability, and alerting.
• Strong experience with Amazon RDS and relational database administration, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, IAM, load balancing, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application environments.
• Experience implementing infrastructure monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting processes.
• Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, and collaborative development practices.
• Experience applying infrastructure automation, security, and reliability best practices.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and take ownership of assigned deliverables.
• Hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted software development and infrastructure automation tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional AWS services (Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53, CloudWatch), infrastructure security scanning, and DevSecOps; knowledge of high‑availability architectures, infrastructure cost optimization, and database backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
