We are looking for an experienced Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer for a contract-to-hire, remote position with our financial client based in downtown Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

1. Serve as the primary technical contact, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
2. Manage technology platform, community features, UI, and digital content to ensure excellent client experience.
3. Participate in cross-functional meetings to align project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
4. Lead development and deployment of the v1 Fraud Community platform (HigherLogic).
5. Evaluate competitor community platforms for scalability, security, and functionality; recommend upgrades or new solutions.
6. Design user-friendly UI/UX and implement SSO and API integrations with third-party systems.
7. Work with support teams to resolve technical issues and ensure platform reliability.
8. Monitor and optimize platform performance, usability, and security.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
10. Implement feedback loops for platform improvements based on user input.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience as a full stack developer with a track record of scalable digital solutions.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
3. Experience with C#, ASP.NET (WebForms and MVC), and Visual Studio.
4. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
5. Experience with SQL Server, including complex queries and stored procedures.
6. Familiarity with digital authentication (SAML, OAuth, Microsoft Entra ID) is preferred.
7. Experience with community platforms like HigherLogic is a plus.
8. Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and clients.
9. Must reside in Illinois, Missouri, or Pennsylvania.
10. Legal authorization to work in the USA; C2C candidates are not considered.

The hourly pay range is $45.00 - $75.00, depending on experience, role, level, and location.
