Job summary

Blockskye is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build AI-native features and scalable backend services for travel and payments platforms. You will design full-stack apps using Node.js on the server and modern front-end frameworks, with emphasis on LLM-powered capabilities, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building full-stack applications in Node.js in production.
• Hands-on experience building production LLM-powered apps with major providers.
• Daily use of AI coding assistants and ability to deploy AI workflows.
• Understanding of MVC, OOP, and scalable architecture.
• Strong knowledge of serverless AWS and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with microservice architectures and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Excellent communication across time zones (ET) and SDLC familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust full-stack apps with Node.js and modern UI frameworks.
• Build AI-native features: LLM endpoints, RAG pipelines, tool calls, and agentic workflows.
• Architect scalable serverless systems on AWS and optimize costs.
• Collaborate with design/product to deliver accessible user experiences.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers and improve code quality.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and security across the platform.
• Review code, participate in design discussions, and drive continuous improvement.
