Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Engineer to join a 12-month contract in Durham, NC.

The role splits responsibilities 50% frontend and 50% backend, requiring hands-on development in Angular (TypeScript), Java, and Spring Boot with AWS cloud experience. The ideal candidate will integrate AI-assisted tooling into development practices, participate in CI/CD (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), and work on end-to-end testing frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright).

Qualifications

• Experience with full stack development (front-end and back-end).

Responsibilities

Job Summary (List Format) Sr. Full Stack Engineer (Angular, Java, AWS, Testing)

Position: Sr. Full Stack Engineer (50% Front-End, 50% Back-End)

Location: Durham, NC (Local candidates only; remote every other week)

Duration: 12 months (Contract)

Client: Fidelity Investments

Compensation: $60-65/hr W2 (max)

Interview Process:

• 1st Round: Onsite, 1 hr 15 mins (Technical, whiteboard/pseudocode)
• 2nd Round: Virtual, 30 mins if needed

Team Focus: Developer Assist tooling for Brokerage Technology, incorporating AI to improve developer efficiency

AI Integration: Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools is required; ability to explain prompt engineering, use cases, and best practices

Experience Required: 4 9 years (minimum 4 years)
