Job summary

Eliassen Group in Durham, NC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build GenAI-enabled applications, integrations, and reusable services that enhance product delivery workflows across Product Management, Business Analysis, UX Design, Engineering, and Testing.

You will collaborate with Brokerage and Enterprise teams to deploy practical solutions that boost productivity, quality, and delivery outcomes. This role requires strong mentoring and a passion for standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full stack development experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern UI (React/Angular).
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native development.
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Build and support GenAI-enabled applications, services, and integrations.
• Develop solutions for teams across Product, BA, UX, Engineering, and QA.
• Integrate enterprise AI tools into existing workflows and platforms.
• Partner with business and technology teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Work toward reusable frameworks, standards, and best practices for AI-enabled delivery.

On-site Every Other Week onsite / 5 days in Physical Location or Durham, NC

Our client seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build GenAI-enabled applications, integrations, and reusable services that improve product delivery workflows across Product Management, Business Analysis, UX Design, Engineering, and Testing. You will partner with Brokerage and Enterprise teams to deploy practical solutions that enhance productivity, quality, and delivery outcomes.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60.00 to $65.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Build and support GenAI-enabled applications, services, and integrations that improve product delivery workflows.
• Develop solutions that support teams across Product, BA, UX, Engineering, and Quality Engineering.
• Integrate enterprise-approved AI and developer productivity tools into existing workflows and platforms.
• Partner with business and technology teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Work towards reusable frameworks, standards, and best practices for AI-enabled product delivery.
• Support CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and operational excellence practices.
• Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations based on business value and technical fit.
• Collaborate with Enterprise teams to align Brokerage solutions with broader standards and platforms.
• Mentor team members and champion a culture of continuous improvement.

Experience Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience building full stack applications.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience designing and developing scalable web applications and services.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices including GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, system design, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Understanding of modern AI technologies including LLMs, RAG, agents, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with e2e testing frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Experience evaluating or integrating AI-powered development tools.
• Financial services experience preferred.
• Strong communication and team-based skills, with experience mentoring engineers and driving standards.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
