Job summary

Fidelity Investments seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and build scalable RESTful APIs using Java and .NET Core. You will contribute to architecture, code reviews, and production support in a fast-paced Scrum environment.

Based in the Raleigh/Durham area, you’ll collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver innovative digital experiences for millions of Fidelity customers planning and investing for retirement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technology discipline.
• 3+ years of software development experience on enterprise-grade applications.
• Aspiration to lead projects is a plus.
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-volume systems.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs using Java or .NET Core.
• Experience with cloud-neutral apps in AWS/Azure.
• Ability to debug legacy systems and participate in modernization efforts.

You will be involved in building or enhancing existing capabilities that help millions of Fidelity’s customers prepare better for retirement while delivering industry best experiences.**The Team**As a member of the 401k or Defined Contribution (DC) Online Recordkeeping technology chapter within the Workplace Investing business unit of Fidelity, you will be responsible for design, development, testing, Production Support and deployment of scalable and innovative solutions that help 28+ million Fidelity’s customers plan and invest for retirement, manage and transact from their DC retirement accounts.
