This is an exciting career opportunity for a high potential engineer interested in the design and development of sophisticated, high-speed digital electronics for medical applications.
Essential Functions
- Perform tasks related to RTL design and coding, simulation, modeling, testbench verification, IP block integration, etc.
- Assist with component selection based on given requirements.
- Work with 4K video and high-speed signals (6 GHz / s).
- Test, debug, and bring-up prototype circuit boards.
- Assist in developing test protocols and fixtures.
- Document testing results and perform failure analysis.
- Support EMI / EMC and safety testing.
- Provide technical support to other groups to bring products to market, maintain existing products, and support vendor requirements.
- Ensure design compliance with FDA, ISO, and other regulatory standards through design control functions.
- Manage Design History Files, and prepare product specifications, design, and test documents.
- Conduct technical design reviews as needed.
Location
Education
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- Advanced degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum 8 years in digital logic design (FPGA, CPLD, gate logic).
- 3-5 years in Hardware Descriptive Languages like Verilog.
- 3-5 years with FPGA/CPLD development and tools such as Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus.
- 2-3 years in high-speed digital design and signal integrity analysis (preferred).
- 2-3 years programming/scripting in C, C++, Python (preferred).
- Experience in FPGA-based image processing (preferred).
- Knowledge of analog circuits, microcontrollers (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
