Job summary

Talent Connect Protocol seeks a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer to sit at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and Customer, building and deploying AI-powered solutions into healthcare environments.

You will translate business problems into technical solutions and rapidly move from discovery to production. The role emphasizes full-stack capabilities, API design, and hands-on AI/ML work, with hybrid work in the North Austin, TX area and collaboration across customer sites and cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack or software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern web development frameworks.
• Experience designing and building APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Hands-on exposure to AI/ML, NLP, LLMs, or modern AI APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build and customize full-stack applications, APIs, and workflows that integrate AI-powered solutions into customer environments (including EHR/claims systems).
• Partner with customers, Solutions Engineers, and Architects to define technical requirements and success criteria.
• Rapidly prototype and deploy healthcare workflows from discovery to production.
• Configure and integrate LLMs and ML models for healthcare use cases.
• Support secure production deployments across cloud and customer environments.

TCP is partnered with a fast-growing AI startup transforming healthcare and life sciences to hire a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer. This engineer will sit at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and the Customer, building and deploying AI-powered solutions directly into complex healthcare environments.

The ideal candidate is a strong full-stack engineer who enjoys working directly with customers, translating real-world business problems into technical solutions, and rapidly taking solutions from discovery and prototype through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and customize full-stack applications, APIs, and workflow orchestrations that integrate AI-powered solutions into customer environments, including EHR and claims systems.
• Partner directly with customers, Solutions Engineers, and Architects to understand business problems, define technical requirements, and establish success criteria.
• Rapidly prototype and deploy healthcare workflows, taking customer solutions from discovery through production.
• Configure and integrate LLMs and machine learning models for customer-specific use cases, including healthcare administrative and clinical workflows.
• Support secure production deployments across cloud and customer environments while contributing across application development, integrations, and infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of full-stack or software engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Python and modern web development frameworks.
• Strong experience designing and building APIs, including REST and/or GraphQL, and integrating applications with complex external systems.
• Hands-on exposure to AI/ML, NLP, LLMs, or modern AI APIs, with the ability to apply these technologies to real-world customer problems.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and container technologies include Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate non-technical business requirements into production-ready technical solutions. Healthcare, EHR, claims, or other regulated-industry experience is a plus.
