Shift

PM Shift: Monday - Friday (Saturdays dependent on business needs).

Pay

$39.60 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment including gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, air brakes, forklifts, tankers, and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Oversee Fleet Technicians and provide direction as assigned by Lead Technician.
• Help schedule and support all work within the shop.
• Coordinate training initiatives.
• Manage costs according to budget and daily completion of repairs.
• Ensure DOT compliance.
• Program and record assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
• Receive and process invoices for payment.
• Maintain parts inventory and budget; exercise parts and inventory control.
• Maintain shop housekeeping standards and prepare end‑of‑month reporting and other administrative requirements.
• Ensure safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Positive team‑player attitude.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Completed 2 years of technical education or possess 3 years of hands‑on experience.
• Diagnostic experience and ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Perform additional facilities repairs.
• Physical capability to bend, stretch, twist, and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) experience preferred.
• Experience in diesel engine repair, hydraulic systems, drivetrain assemblies, suspension chassis, and electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain CDL Class B within a specified period.
• ASE certification required within a specified period.
• Must possess personal tools.
