Job summary

Polar Semiconductor, LLC is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to bridge finance operations and enterprise technology. You will optimize the financial close, automate processes, and develop BI dashboards using PowerBI integrated with Microsoft Fabric.

The role requires deep experience with Microsoft Fabric, Dynamics365 F&O, and ERP ecosystems, plus strong SQL and Python scripting for data manipulation and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years in financial systems analysis, ERP implementation, or finance technology consulting.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end O2C and P2P processes and their system dependencies.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Synapse, OneLake, PowerBI Premium).
  • Proven experience with Dynamics365 F&O: functional configuration or implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Process Management: Analyze, document, and improve invoicing, collections, cash application, close, and revenue recognition.
  • Cycle optimization: support PO, invoicing, and payment workflows; identify automation opportunities across processes.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: work with AP, AR, and Procurement to resolve breakdowns.
  • Reporting, Analytics & BI: build executive dashboards and ad-hoc reports to support FP&A and close.
  • Financial Systems & Microsoft Fabric: design and maintain data pipelines; ensure data integrity and governance.
  • ERP Administration: support Great Plains; assist upgrades, migrations, and SOX documentation.
  • Technical Development & Integration: maintain SQL queries and data views; support API integrations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: translate requirements into specs; manage concurrent workstreams.

Overview

Polar Semiconductor, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Analyst to join our Finance & Technology team. This individual will serve as the critical bridge between finance operations and enterprise technology platforms, ensuring that financial processes, financial close, and reporting are optimized, automated, and fully aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Process Management: Analyze, document, and continuously improve processes including customer invoicing, collections, cash application, month‑end close, and revenue recognition.
  • Cycle optimization: Support vendor onboarding, purchase order management, invoice processing, and payment workflows; identify automation opportunities across financial processes using ERP capabilities and RPA tooling to reduce manual effort and cycle times.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration: Work with AP, AR, and Procurement teams to resolve process breakdowns and escalations.
  • Reporting, Analytics & Business Intelligence: Develop and maintain executive‑level financial dashboards and operational reporting using PowerBI integrated with Microsoft Fabric; build and validate financial models, variance analyses, and ad‑hoc reports to support FP&A, month‑end close, and business reviews.
  • Financial Systems & Microsoft Fabric: Design, develop, and maintain financial data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, PowerBI, OneLake); architect scalable reporting and analytics solutions; administer and optimize integrations between Microsoft Fabric and ERP platforms (Dynamics365 F&O and Great Plains); ensure data integrity, lineage, and governance.
  • ERP Administration & Optimization: Support day‑to‑day administration, configuration, and enhancement of Microsoft Great Plains; support ERP upgrade, migration, and module implementation projects; train Finance team and document processes; troubleshoot ERP system issues; document system configurations, workflows, and business process maps for SOX compliance.
  • Technical Development & Integration: Maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data views for reporting; support API integrations between ERP systems, financial data platforms, and third‑party applications; participate in system testing (UAT), data validation, and cutover activities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Project Delivery: Serve as a trusted functional adviser; translate complex business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications; manage concurrent workstreams; prepare and deliver executive‑level status updates.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA, CMA, or relevant technology certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics365 Finance Functional Consultant) is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial systems analysis, ERP implementation, or finance technology consulting.
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end O2C and P2P financial processes and their system dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of key accounting concepts: Journal Entry development, Standard Costing, Accruals, Revenue Recognition, etc.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, OneLake, PowerBI Premium).
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics365 Finance & Operations – functional configuration, module administration, and/or implementation.
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Fabric: Data pipelines, PowerBI semantic models, OneLake governance.
  • ERP: Dynamics365 F&O (required), Microsoft Great Plains (preferred).
  • Programming: Python (data manipulation, automation, pandas/numpy), SQL (T‑SQL, complex queries, stored procedures).
  • Reporting & BI: PowerBI (DAX, Power Query, dataset management), SSRS, Excel (advanced, Power Query and Power Pivot).
  • Integration & Automation: REST APIs, ODATA, Logic Apps, Power Automate.
  • Data & Governance: Data modeling concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, data lineage, master data management (MDM).
  • Version Control: Git‑based source control for code and configuration management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting financial systems in a semiconductor fab, fabless, or OSAT environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains (chart of accounts, GL consolidations, and reporting).
  • Familiarity with semiconductor‑specific financial considerations: inventory valuation, yield accounting, intercompany transfer pricing.
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services relevant to financial data: Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure DevOps.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe Agile) is a plus.
Benefits & Compensation
  • Salary: $121,000–$140,000 (base).
