BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate FP&A team in Marlborough, MA. This hybrid role involves partnering across the business to build budgets, forecasts and strategic analyses that guide leadership decisions.

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of financial analysis experience, strong Excel/SAP skills, and a track record of clear communication with executives. The position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop the annual budget and forecasts.
• Own portions of the monthly rolling plan and report key trends to leadership.
• Model, analyze and report on strategic initiatives to inform decisions.
• Review and forecast P&L items with business partners across the organization.
• Support development and reporting of operational KPIs and metrics.
• Provide ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership.

BJ's Wholesale Club is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team. A position within this team is exciting and fast paced because of the holistic exposure across the organization. The candidate here in this role has the potential to make significant impact and become a trusted resource for the senior leadership team. An individual who enjoys working individually as well as on a team, and who is comfortable partnering and communicating with all levels of the business to make sound recommendations will be a great fit for the organization.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating cross functionally to develop the annual budget, including detailed forecasts of expense items and revenue drivers
• Developing and owning portions of the monthly rolling plan, identifying, and reporting key trends to upper management regularly for key decision making and quarterly guidance
• Modeling, analyzing, and reporting on new strategic initiatives to inform the business of challenges and opportunities
• Working with key business partners to review, forecast and analyze various P&L line items across
• Supporting the development, monitoring, and reporting of operational metrics and KPIs
• Ad-hoc reporting and analyses as requested by senior leadership

Competencies Required:

• A critical thinker with excellent problem solving and financial modeling skills
• Clear and articulate in oral and written communication
• Strong attention to detail, a perfectionist at heart
• Strong business acumen with ability to interface with executive management
• Ability to build partnerships and help influence decisions
• A team player that enjoys collaborative work but can excel as individual contributor
• Advanced technical aptitude (Excel, SAP, or other ERP systems)
• Exposure to Tableau and Alteryx a plus
• An understanding of key accounting principles
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required, MBA a plus
• Demonstrable and progressive financial analysis experience (3-5 years)

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $86,000.00 - $109,500.00
