Job description

A highly respected, independent wealth management firm with more than 25 years of history is seeking an experienced CFP® professional to join its advisory team in Tucson.

This is an exciting opportunity for an advisor who wants more than a traditional service role. You’ll step into an established client base, take meaningful ownership of client relationships, and have the opportunity to build your own book of business through referrals, professional networks, and business development.

The firm works with successful individuals, families, business owners, and executives, often during significant life transitions such as retirement, the sale of a business, loss of a loved one, or other major financial changes.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to an established group of clients.
  • Lead client meetings, financial planning conversations, and portfolio reviews.
  • Develop comprehensive retirement, investment, tax, estate, and insurance strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships.
  • Build relationships with CPAs, attorneys, and other centers of influence.
  • Generate new business through referrals, networking, and personal business development.
  • Collaborate with an experienced advisory and client-service team.
  • Help contribute to the continued growth and evolution of the practice.
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a technically strong, relationship-driven advisor who knows that great wealth management is about more than numbers.

The ideal candidate is:

  • A CFP® professional with 5+ years of client-facing advisory experience.
  • Comfortable leading client meetings and presenting financial plans.
  • Experienced working with high-net-worth clients and complex planning situations.
  • Highly personable, emotionally intelligent, and confident in sensitive client conversations.
  • Entrepreneurial and motivated to build relationships and new business.
  • Collaborative, organized, and highly attentive to detail.
  • Interested in building a long‑term career with potential for future leadership and ownership.
Why Consider This Opportunity?

You won’t be starting from scratch.

You’ll have an established client base, experienced advisors, strong operational support, and the resources of a well-established independent practice, while still having the freedom to build something of your own.

There is a defined growth path toward an expanded book of business, increased revenue participation, and potential future equity/partnership opportunities for the right individual.

If you’re an advisor who is ready for greater responsibility, greater impact, and a long‑term opportunity to build your career, this is a conversation worth having.
