Sr. Finance Analyst - Remote, USA (Central Standard Time Schedule)

About the Role:
As a CBRE Finance Sr. Analyst, you'll apply advanced cash and accrual accounting fundamentals to prepare, evaluate, maintain, and deliver complete and accurate financial reports for a complex portfolio of CBRE clients and properties.

This role is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations function, responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

What You'll Do:

  1. Complete intermediate to advanced accounting transactions for client financial statement packages.
  2. Create and post journal entries; ensure all expenses, receipts, distributions, funding requests, and other transactions are accurately recorded.
  3. Generate and review financial packages for accuracy; ensure timely delivery to clients and management.
  4. Review and audit funding and payment requests for accuracy, documentation, and authorization.
  5. Address and resolve complex accounting issues and inquiries from management and clients.
  6. Identify potential issues and take corrective actions proactively.
  7. Maintain and report on benchmarks and performance metrics.
  8. Apply standard principles and techniques to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems.
  9. Possess broad knowledge within own discipline and some knowledge of related areas.
  10. Lead by example, demonstrating CBRE RISE values and influencing others.
  11. Impact the quality of own work and team outputs.
  12. Work within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines.
  13. Explain complex information clearly to others.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience; relevant experience and education may suffice without a degree.
  • Understanding of procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze solutions and apply judgment based on experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills for complex financial calculations.
