About the Role:

As a CBRE Finance Sr. Analyst, you’ll apply advanced cash and accrual accounting fundamentals to prepare, evaluate, maintain, and deliver complete and accurate financial reports for a complex portfolio of CBRE clients and properties.

This role is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations function, responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Complete intermediate to advanced-level accounting transactions for client financial statement packages.
  2. Create and post journal entries, ensuring all expenses, receipts, owner’s distributions, funding requests, and transactions are accurately recorded.
  3. Generate and review financial packages for accuracy and timely delivery.
  4. Review and audit funding and payment requests for accuracy, documentation, and authorization.
  5. Respond to and resolve complex accounting issues and reports from management and clients.
  6. Identify potential issues and take corrective actions.
  7. Maintain and report benchmarks and performance metrics.
  8. Apply standard principles and procedures to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems.
  9. Possess broad knowledge within your job discipline and some knowledge of related disciplines.
  10. Lead by example, modeling behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values.
  11. Impact the quality of your work and that of your team.
  12. Work within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines.
  13. Explain complex information clearly to others.
What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 2-5 years of relevant experience; experience and education may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Understanding of procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze solutions using technical experience, applying judgment and precedents.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills for calculating complex figures such as percentages and fractions.
