About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Finance team at CBRE! This fully remote position, operating on Central Standard Time, will be responsible for preparing, evaluating, maintaining, and delivering complete and accurate financial reports for a complex portfolio of clients and properties. If you’re passionate about finance and accounting, and have a keen eye for detail, this is a great opportunity to grow in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare intermediate to advanced-level accounting transactions for client financial statements
2. Post journal entries and ensure all transactions (expenses, receipts, owner’s distributions, etc.) are accurately recorded
3. Generate and review financial packages for accuracy and timely delivery to clients and management teams
4. Audit funding and payment requests for accuracy, documentation, and authorization
5. Resolve complex accounting issues and provide timely responses to client and management requests
6. Facilitate maintenance of performance metrics and benchmarks
7. Apply technical experience and judgment to solve slightly complex problems

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with 2-5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting (combination of education and experience may be considered)
2. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
3. Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset
4. Advanced math skills and ability to calculate complex financial figures
5. Ability to analyze solutions and apply technical judgment for financial reporting
6. Understanding of procedures and standards to address complex financial issues
