Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Sr Field Service Technician to deliver high-quality service and support for combustion systems at customer sites. You will test, maintain, and troubleshoot while traveling 70–80% and working remotely from our Cleveland, OH location.

You will report to the Field Service Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable system performance and strong customer relationships worldwide.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electronic or mechanical technical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and service management software and schematic drawings.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel 70–80% to customer sites domestically and internationally.

Job description

As a Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality service and support to our customers by evaluating, testing, and maintaining complex combustion systems and equipment. You will utilize your technical expertise to identify issues and provide exceptional customer service in the field.

You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you will work out of our Cleveland, Ohio location on a Remote work schedule.

As the Sr Field Service Technician, you will impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency by ensuring timely and effective resolution of service requests, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams. You’ll work remotely for our Honeywell facility at various customer locations. Travel is a must, expect 70% to 80% travel requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• After proper Honeywell-specific training, you will be expected to perform testing, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of combustion systems and equipment at customer sites.

• Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure safe system performance, efficiency and reliability.

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers in the field.

• Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 2+ years technical knowledge of electronic, mechanical experience.

• Experience using diagnostic tools and service management software tools and schematic drawings.

• Valid driver’s license

• Must be willing and have the ability to travel 70% to 80% to customer sites domestically and occasionally internationally
