Flex is seeking a Sr Facilities Manager in Austin, TX to lead and oversee the facilities team across office, manufacturing, warehouse, and related spaces. You will manage maintenance, layouts, and operations to ensure safe, efficient environments.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years in facilities engineering with supervision, and knowledge of manufacturing operations, data centers, and high-power systems. This role offers growth within a dynamic, inclusive organization.

To support our extraordinary team who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr Facilities Manager located in Austin, TX.

Reporting to the Sr Director Facilities the Sr Facilities Manager manages, coordinates, and oversees various functions for the facilities organization including maintenance and alteration of office, manufacturing, warehouse, truck yards, parking, and landscaped areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement, and housekeeping of the aforementioned facilities.

What a typical day looks like:

• Controls inter- building communication installations and maintenance.
• Supervises maintenance and alteration of all areas and equipment within the building(s), as well as layouts, arrangements, and housekeeping of all facilities.
• May oversee cafeteria and/or food service operations.
• Analyses and standardizes various facilities procedures to improve efficiencies.
• Defines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Assigns duties for subordinates and examines work for conformance to policies and procedures.
• A portion of time is normally spent performing tasks related to the facilities unit.
• Coordinates purchase orders within budget guidelines and files monthly reports to accounting, corporate, and/or facilities management
• May coordinate, manage, and direct the design, planning, construction, maintenance and alteration of building structures, equipment, machinery, and other facilities infrastructures.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Higher Grades Duty Summary (in addition to performing or overseeing duties listed above, the manager may perform some or all of the following additional responsibilities):
• Inspects plant and evaluates use of space and facilities.
• Evaluates firm's HVAC systems, computer network wiring, lighting and other factors.
• Plans, budgets and schedules various regional facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts and contracts for construction and acquisitions.
• Performs audits to support facility planning.
• Develops long range plans, conceptual designs and capital outlay requirements and documentation for various facilities.
