Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Sr. Systems Analyst to join the Global Facilities Space Planning team in San Diego. You will pull occupancy metrics, transform data into visuals, and support space planning across global sites.

The role focuses on developing dashboards (badge, sensor, occupancy data), analyzing trends, and partnering with Facilities, IT, HR, and Workplace teams to align insights with business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of related experience.
  • Strong data analysis and dashboard experience.
  • Experience with occupancy data (badge, sensors).
  • Ability to translate data into business decisions.
  • Excellent cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance space utilization dashboards (badge, sensor, occupancy data).
  • Analyze trends and provide actionable insights for capacity planning, real‑estate strategy, and workplace design.
  • Support long‑range planning through headcount modeling, space optimization, and forecasting.
  • Create operational dashboards that track maintenance, vendor performance, and facility health.
  • Partner with Facilities, IT, HR, and Workplace teams to align insights with business needs.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership with clear, data‑driven narratives.
  • Accurate dashboards used as the organization’s primary source of truth.
  • Improved space efficiency and informed planning decisions.
  • Strong cross‑functional alignment through clear and consistent reporting.

Our Global Facilities Space Planning team is looking for the right teammate to support occupancy data for all our global sites. As a Sr. Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for pulling data metrics monthly, transforming data into visuals, and office space planning.

Where you come in:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance space utilization dashboards (badge, sensor, occupancy data).
  • Analyze trends and provide actionable insights for capacity planning, real‑estate strategy, and workplace design.
  • Support long‑range planning through headcount modeling, space optimization, and forecasting.
  • Create operational dashboards that track maintenance, vendor performance, and facility health.
  • Partner with Facilities, IT, HR, and Workplace teams to align insights with business needs.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership with clear, data‑driven narratives.
  • Accurate dashboards used as the organization’s primary source of truth.
  • Improved space efficiency and informed planning decisions.
  • Strong cross‑functional alignment through clear and consistent reporting.
What makes you successful:
  • 5+ years in facilities management, workplace operations, corporate real estate, or analytics.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Experience with utilization data (badge, sensors, reservation platforms).
  • Familiarity with CAFM/CMMS and workplace technology systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into business decisions.
  • Preferred Experience in occupancy planning or portfolio strategy.
  • Exposure to data automation or systems integration.
