• 2+ years of export compliance experience or related field.
• Experience with ITAR and EAR; familiarity with OFAC sanctions.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, international trade, business, or related field.
• Experience with SAP / GTS.
• Experience with EASE OCR.
• Experience with SNAP-R and/or DECCS.
• Knowledge of software, technology data, and deemed exports requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage export licenses and authorizations with DoS/DoC.
• Evaluate license exceptions and exemptions for transactions.
• Plan export authorization strategy for product development and transitions.
• Support post-approval strategy and conditions.
• Review export shipments in SAP-GTS for compliance.
• Conduct export compliance reviews across supply chain and programs.
• Assist with audits, investigations, and disclosures as needed.
• Support process improvements in export compliance program.
• Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver export compliance training to business groups.
• Maintain records for regulatory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage high volume of complex Department of State and Department of Commerce export licenses and authorizations
• Evaluate applicability of license exceptions and exemptions for proposed export transactions
• Evaluate end-to-end export authorization strategy for product development and transition programs/projects
• Assist with export authorization post-approval strategy and operationalize complex provisos/conditions
• Timely review and release export shipments in SAP-GTS against applicable export authorizations
• Conduct export compliance reviews for supply chain, procurement, logistics, quality, and program management related activities
• Assist with export audits, assessments, investigations and disclosures as needed
• Support export process and procedure review, improvement, and implementation
• Provide guidance to key internal and external stakeholders to enable effective collaboration among business units, foreign subsidiaries, and external partners.
• Deliver export compliance training to Honeywell Aerospace Strategic Business Groups
• Maintain complete and accurate records of export activities in support of regulatory reporting requirements

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• 2+ years related work experience in export compliance international trade, or a related field
• Experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulation (EAR). Familiarity with Sanctions regulation (OFAC)
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, international trade, business administration, law, or a related field
• Experience in SAP / GTS
• Experience in EASE OCR
• Experience with SNAP-R and/or DECCS
• Knowledgeable about export requirements for software, technology/technical data, deemed export, re-exports, etc.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and address compliance issues effectively.
• High ethical standards and integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information.
