Eden Capital Careers seeks a Sr. Estimator (Mechanical/Civil/Structural) for onsite work in Channelview/Houston, TX.

This role involves developing detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and mechanical scopes on industrial projects, with emphasis on piping and systems, using Trimble Accubid and Excel. The Senior Estimator will collaborate with engineering and construction teams, review drawings, support bid processes, and help optimize cost controls for EPC/design-build delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; OR 10 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years of estimating experience in industrial construction, focusing on mechanical and piping scopes.
• Strong working knowledge of civil and structural construction methods and cost drivers.
• Advanced proficiency with Trimble Accubid and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometrics, civil drawings, and structural plans.
• Experience supporting EPC or design-build project delivery models, preferred.
• Minimal travel for pre-bid site visits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and mechanical construction scopes, with emphasis on piping and mechanical systems.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment pricing using Trimble Accubid and Excel.
• Review drawings, specs, and scope documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and construction teams to validate assumptions and strategies.
• Develop pricing for lump sum, unit rate, and time-and-materials proposals.
• Develop construction schedules in Microsoft Project.
• Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for alignment with scope and standards.
• Identify project risks, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities.
• Support bid reviews, estimate reconciliations, and post-bid handoff meetings.
• Maintain estimating databases, historical cost data, and productivity benchmarks.

About this Role

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Estimator (Mechanical/Civil/Structural) to join our team in Houston, TX to support a growing portfolio of large-scale construction projects, primarily within the rapidly expanding data center market. Additional projects span the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and other heavy industrial sectors.

The Senior Estimator will play a key role in developing accurate, competitive cost estimates for EPC and design-build projects. This position requires a deep understanding of industrial construction methods, material takeoffs, labor productivity, and cost controls.

What You'll Do
